Flor Sotelo-Perez is a high school senior at East High School who currently holds a 3.218 GPA. Sotelo-Perez has earned the Seal of Biliteracy for learning Chinese (Mandarin) and being able to speak it fluently (Sotelo-Perez also speaks Spanish). Sotelo-Perez is part of Latino Students United (LSU) and the Medicince Club.

Sotelo-Perez is a member of East Link Crew which is a group of students who volunteer their time by helping incoming freshman acclimate and show them around. Sotelo-Perez has also volunteered her time working fundraisers ran by LSU.
WHY IS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IMPORTANT?

Sotelo-Perez has applied to Regis University, Johnson & Whales University, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, the University of Northern Colorado, and the University of Colorado at Denver. She has been accepted to Metro State University of Denver.
