WORDS TO LIVE BY

“Losing doesn’t make me want to quit, it makes me want to fight that much harder.” -Bear Bryant

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Acosta volunteers for 2-4-1 youth sports camp, volunteer for “A Little Help,” an organization to aid the elderly in the Denver Metro area.

WHY IS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IMPORTANT?

“Because it allows for an example to be set for the youth to aspire to be. Through this a chain of positive influence will be manifested and the overall atmosphere will change for the better.”

IF I COULD IMPROVE THE WORLD I WOULD...

“I would ensure that all historical viewpoints be expressed in classes so that students are able to obtain a sense of identity within the curriculum as well as gain a deeper understanding of each other and their culture forming bridges of inter-connectivity.

COLLEGE OF CHOICE

Acosta has applied to the University of Colorado at Denver, the University of Northern Colorado, Colorado State University, and the University of Colorado at Boulder, which is his dream school.
