The Cultivators workshop is a free workshop for all genre’s held at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (admission waived). Franklin Cruz is a Latin poet born in Idaho, raised in Texas and polished in Denver. A Tedx Mile High speaker Franklin has performed at Denver University, Denver Art Museum and traveled through the southwest performing spoken word. His work embodies self love, transformation, science and depicts the life of a child of immigrants. Come January 19th from 12-4 to explore a Self-Expression workshop to learn how to use our live’s to inspire other’s journey. This is an intro class to learn how to use the tools that writer’s use to express themselves how they want and to paint with their words.

Denver Dynamic Networking powered by Rockstar Connect, invites you to an evening of Rockstar Connect networking at Dulce Vida on Wednesday, January 16th, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It is a mix-and-mingle, after-hours business networking event and all may attend. Unlike other evening networking events, admission is free of charge. Dulce Vida is providing complimentary finger foods on a first come first served basis as well as the free event space. Attendees are encouraged to reciprocate the venue’s generosity by making a beverage purchase and by tipping their servers. It is the Rockstar thing to do. Feel free to come early for dinner, or stay after for drinks.

Behold the power of cold with liquid nitrogen demos, Science Lounge:Frozen. Chill out with arctic animals from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science collections, keep it cool with ice science, build a snowman, and ”let it go” with the signature cocktail of the night, the Elsa. This event will be held on January 17th, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, 2001 Colorado Blvd.

Joing CSU Astronomy and the Madison McDonald Observatory, 1251 East Dr., Fort Collins, for a total lunar eclipse party on Sunday January 20, from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. They will have views from different sized telescopes of the Moon and other celestial objects. Sangre de Cristo Arts Center is excited to present their participation at FESTIVAL FRIDAYS. Come out for some great music and fun. Food and drinks are available come out and support the arts at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center.
