The new 2019 Acura RDX is the best midsize luxury crossover this year, with its added luxuries and even more thrilling drive. With the return of available super handling all wheel drive (SH-AWD) a driver friendly luxurious cabin and the latest technology available, it is one awesome SUV.
The Acura RDX SH-AWD is premier in sport handling. This sophisticated system boosts high performance on dry-roads and provides the same for all weather driving. By continuously directing engine power to match weight distribution, the SH-AWD provides seamless power transitions and liberating agility.
The 2.0-liter VTEC turbo engine provides 272 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft of torque, an increase from last year’s model, which means faster acceleration and sharper throttle response. This engine is partnered with a 10-speed auto transmission. This allows the driver to take full advantage of the turbo engines low-end torque and whether you are in automatic mode or using the paddle shifters, gear changes are quick and seamless.
The RDX owners will enjoy four unique driving modes: Snow, Comfort, Sport and Sport+.
The RDX SH-AWD comes with 19” medium alloy silver Interwoven wheels, rain sensing wipers, hands free remote linked power operated tailgate, LED fog lights and can you believe a rear camera washer.
Also included, is a 10.5” head up display, heated and ventilated front 16 way power seats with 3 level heated rear outboard seats. Heated steering wheel and all natural olive ash burl wood trim with white ambient cabin accent lighting.
