WORDS TO LIVE BY

“If you can’t fly, then run, if you can’t run, then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, but by all means, keep moving.” Martin Luther King Jr.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Martinez has volunteered at La Puente, working with the homeless, making meals, organized food and clothing drives. Martinez has also helped youth at pee-wee basketball games.

WHY IS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IMPORTANT?

“It is good to show people you care and give everyone hope that life is beautiful. It is a change for the future that can make a big impact just by you helping out.”

IF I COULD IMPROVE THE WORLD…

“I would help people see the good in others, to show kindness because there is a lot of cruelty in the world we all need to stick together. I would encourage others to voice their opinions about the world we live in.”

COLLEGE OF CHOICE

Martinez has applied to Adams State University, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Colorado Mesa University and Colorado State University at Pueblo.
