Join the first ever Craftsman’s Market at the Salvage Design Center in their new showroom in Denver. They’ll be hosting 20+ local Craftsmen and Craftswomen who will be demonstrating their skills and selling their wares. Meet blacksmiths, fractal wood burners, carpenters, jewelry designers, sign makers & much more. The Craftsman’s Market kicks off at 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 7, and runs until 4 p.m. at the Salvage Design Center, 1200 West Evans. We’ll be celebrating the day with live music, delicious food from local food trucks, and even a pet adoption event featuring rescue dogs from Low Riders of the West Small Dog Rescue. This tax season, the Denver Public Library is partnering with Denver-based Piton Foundation to help hard-working individuals and families become more financially secure. IRS-certified volunteers are trained to accurately prepare returns for those who qualify. Free tax preparation is available to families with a household income of $55,000 or less though the Tax Help Colorado program. Spanish translation services available. Drop in, first come first served. Note: Please bring a copy of your 2017 tax return. Visit for a list of additional items needed to prepare your taxes.

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is open extra late on Wednesday, April 3 and admission after 5 p.m. is free, so stop by after work, grab dinner at food trucks by WongWayVeg and Barbed Wire Reef, listen to music from DJ L.A. Car enthusiasts gather. Come check out the incredible 8th Annual Lincoln Tech Car Show on Saturday, April 6th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is free to enter your vehicle. We will have a kid zone, campus tours, and some of the most amazing vehicles in Colorado and surrounding states. We will also have some of the best local cuisine from Jim ‘N Nick’s, The Wing Wagon Grill, Lucky Mary’s Baking and Sweets Company, The Road Runner, California Wrap Runner, Wheels on Fire Pizza Truck, The Mac Shack, Barbed Wire Reef, and DownTown Fingers. Calling all Rio Grande fans, we’ll be running our Rio Grande trains on our layout joined by the Rio Grande Modeling & Historical Society on Friday April 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum, 680 10th St. in Greeley. Adults $10 - Seniors (65+) $8 - Children (4-12) $5 - 3 and under are free. Visit for more information.

Pueblo Community College (PCC) is offering a wide assortment of insightful seminars aimed at helping PCC students take control of their finances and understand how to use their money wisely.
