Please join the RiNo Art District, Denver Parks and Recreation, and Mayor Michael B. Hancock on Monday April 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the official groundbreaking of RiNo Park at 1930 35th St. in Denver. Come learn more about the future park and meet the partners involved. Light refreshments will be provided. After the groundbreaking, stop by Mockery Brewing and Great Divide Barrel Bar for buy one, get one beers.

Regis University Alumni Association is excited to once again be hosting the Alumni for Others Easter Basket Collection and Assembly. Easter baskets and supplies to fill them can be donated at Main Hall 222 until Friday, April 12. If you would like to donate on Saturday, April 13, you may bring the supplies to the Clarke Hall Atrium between noon and 1 p.m. Easter basket assembly will take place from 1-2 p.m. in the Clarke Hall Atrium on Saturday, April 13. If you are able to help deliver baskets please stick around at 2 p.m. Please be sure to RSVP so that we can plan for light refreshments and to have enough drivers to deliver the baskets. Strap on your space boots for a crash course in constellations and galactic hijinks with a pair of cosmically comical astronomers. Join the Denver Museum of Nature & Science for the Great Space Escape (Adults Only) on Thursday, April 11, at 6 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. It’s part stand-up, part science, part history, and all parts fun. Come walk with One Community One Family on the path that those going through homelessness have to walk on a daily basis. This is a collaborative event between One Community One Family, House of Neighborly Service, Loveland Public Library, Salvation Army, Community Kitchen, and 137 Connection (a program of HNS). Walk A Mile in Their Shoes will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to noon. Visit for more information and tickets.

Learn about and meet some of our barnyard favorites at the STEM Fun Friday’s: Barnyard Besties-Goats & Chickens on Friday April 12, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This is a choose-your-own-adventure style workshop, where the goat & chicken information shared will be chosen by you, the participant. Milo & Pumpkin will be on hand as ambassadors for these amazing animals.
