Four Mile Historic Park is delighted to partner with the City of Glendale and the Glendale Chamber of Commerce for our Annual Independence Celebration on Tuesday, July 2 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Four Mile Historic Park, 715 S. Forest St. in Denver. This year’s event promises to thrill guests at every turn with live music, pioneer games, food trucks, and fireworks at sundown all included with general admission. Colorado’s largest free community fireworks event returns for its 10th Anniversary in Denver’s Civic Center Park and the Civic Center Conservancy is celebrating by bringing you the most exciting Indy Eve yet. Plus, we’re thrilled to welcome back local favorites Chris Daniels and the Kings and the Colorado Symphony to our patriotic stage. And just as it’s been for a decade, the evening’s explosive finale will include a light show and fireworks from atop the Denver City and County Building! Independence Day in Loveland just got a little more spark. The City of Loveland Parks & Recreation Department’s July 4 Festival at North Lake Park, 2750 N. Tunes from the Battle of the Bands competition earlier in the day can be heard over beers sipped inside the Beer Garden. Kids can get their red, white and blue on in the Kids’ Zone with face painting, July 4 swag, games from the Mobile Recreation Trailer and SNAG golf demos. Plus, kids are invited to decorate their bikes and scooters and enter the Bike Parade – strollers are welcome, too. Train rides run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. courtesy of the Loveland Lions Club.
