When the aroma of sausage sandwiches, pizza frittas, Mexican food and roasted corn permeates the air around Welby, residents will know without looking on their calendars that it’s time for Assumption Catholic Church’s annual Bazaar. Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Welby will hold its bazaar on Friday, July 26 (6 p.m. - 10 p.m.), Saturday, July 27 (6 p.m. - 10 p.m.), Sunday, July 29, (4 p.m. - 9 p.m.) at the church, 2361 E. 78th Ave. Along with a variety of food, the bazaar will feature a 50/50 cash prize raffle, children’s games and rides, and live music.

Join the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival on Saturday July 27 and Sunday July 28, (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) at Sloans Lake, 25th Ave. and Sheridan Blvd. Food, fun and raffles will be on display all weekend so come down for both days with the family to experience Colorado’s Asian cultures.

Free movie in the park on Thursday July, 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Comminity Park, 2251 Eppinger Blvd. Bring a picnic dinner and invite your family, friends and neighbors to watch Spiderman into the Spider-verse. The movie will have subtitles in Spanish. Sponsored by Cine en el Parque / Movies at the Park.

On Saturday, July 27th from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Fort Collins Fringe Festival will take over Old Town Square for Free Family Fringe. Just like it sounds, this is an entire morning of Free Family-Friendly entertainment including some of our Fringe performers. There will also be face painters, magicians, and other artsy activities. Bring the whole family and join them and their artists for a lot of mid-day fun.

The El Pueblo Farmers Market is held every Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at El Pueblo History Museum. We’ll have a wide variety of local vendors selling fresh, locally-grown produce, as well as hand-crafted products of all kinds. Everything at the farmers market is Colorado-grown and Colorado-made, from carrots and chile to soap and jewelry. This year there will also be food trucks at every Farmers Market.
