Join the Denver Art Museum for the 30th annual Friendship Powwow and American Indian Cultural Celebration on September 7 at from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at 100 W. 14th Ave. Pkwy. in Denver (Location: Martin Plaza, between 12th and 13th streets, just east of the museum’s entrance). Everyone is welcome and general admission is free. Grand entry starts at 11 a.m. The Annual Friendship Powwow and Indian Cultural Celebration is one of the Denver Art Museum’s (DAM) longest-running events and will feature American Indian dancers, drum groups, hands-on activities, booths hosted by artists and community groups, and more.

CHAC Gallery will be having their first Lowrider Exhibition on Friday September 6, at 222 Santa Fe Dr., from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Come out and support your gallery by participating in the event or by coming by and showing your support to the only local Chicano gallery in Denver. Join SEGD Denver, the RiNo Art District & the North Denver Cornerstone Collaborative for a community mural painting event during Crush Walls ‘19. Artist Anthony Garcia is leading a community installation of a large mural at 39th and Wynkoop in Denver’s River North Arts District as part of the Crush Walls 2019 Urban Art Festival on Sunday September 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. SEGD Denver is hosting a 2-hour volunteer painting event, where we will help complete the mural. Join us for art, community and breakfast burritos.

Kickoff the chile season with us at Nick’s for Nick’s Chile Fest 2019 on Saturday September 8, at Nick’s Garden Center, 2001 S. Chambers Rd. in Aurora from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Discover new ideas to put to use at home. Spin our prize wheel when you order peppers to possibly win your peppers for free. Live Music by Latin Sol from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and live cooking demonstrations. Nick’s café will be featuring Mexican Food 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Bring the family and come enjoy this great event.

Head to Greeley for the Annual Block Party is Friday, September 6th, on 9th St. Plaza in Downtown Greeley, at 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. This year, The Annual Block Party is on 9th St. Plaza in Downtown Greeley: Admission to the public is FREE and most venues and stages are all ages until 10 p.m.

Come out to the Eastside Communities Farmers Market on Sunday September 8, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at 2008 E. 17th St. and check out the fresh produce, baked goods, food and drinks, and etc while checking out the great looking cars at the car show. The market is giving the residents of the Eastside, access to the produce and products while also offering residents great events in their neighborhood to attend.
