COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Vega has donated her time by volunteering her time at food banks, homeless shelters, and Arts for the Nation.

WHY IS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IMPORTANT?

“Because community involement acts as a vessel through which all members of the community can intermingle. This level of interaction produces a culture of understanding and our acts of giving and gratitude which enriches and stablizes a community.”

IF I COULD IMPROVE THE WORLD I WOULD...

“I would improve a system that encourages all members of the community to engage in meaningful human connection. Aspiring to understand our counter points perspective will lead to a compassionate and united world.”

COLLEGE OF CHOICE

Vega would like to attend Pomona College, Fort Lewis College, Metro University of Arizona, Scripps College, Claremont McKenna College, Occidental College, and Stanford University.
