The Mexican Cultural Center and the Colorado Symphony — celebrating 20 years of incredible collaborative partnerships — are thrilled to present the fifth annual “Latin Beats: Sonidos de las Americas” in partnership with the Biennial of the Americas on Thursday, September 23, 7:00 p.m., at Boettcher Concert Hall. This unique, free community concert celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month, the cultural sounds of Latin music, and Latin culture’s influence of sound in the Americas in a festive atmosphere.
This year’s concert will showcase a fusion of traditional, classical, and contemporary music augmented by the Colorado Symphony’s soaring orchestrations with guest artists: Mariachi Sol de mi Tierra, Fiesta Colorado Dance Company, Raquel Garcia, Studio Colombia, and Colorado Mambo Orchestra.
The free tickets for “Latin Beats: Sonidos de las Americas” concert will be available starting Thursday, September 9th at the Box Office in Boettcher Concert Hall, located at 1000 14th Street, in the Denver Performing Arts Complex in downtown Denver. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am – 6 pm, and Saturday, noon – 6 pm. Tickets are complimentary. Tickets are required for admission to the concert, though tickets do not guarantee admission. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
