Blue Shoe Run for Prostate Cancer

Join The Urology Center of Colorado (TUCC) Foundation for the fourth annual Blue Shoe Run for Prostate Cancer. The Blue Shoe Run for Prostate Cancer will take place on Saturday, Sept. 14 at The Urology Center of Colorado, 2777 Mile High Stadium Circle. 7 a.m. – Race day registration begins at TUCC. 
7:45 a.m. – Kids Fun Run (free for children under the age of 8 accompanied by a parent.).
8 a.m. – 5K Run/Walk. 
8:15 a.m. – 1.5-mile Family Walk. Visit www.tucc.com/foundation.

Free to Breathe Run/Walk

Local lung cancer fighters, survivors and supporters will come together to increase awareness and raise funding for lung cancer at The National Lung Cancer Partnership’s annual Free to Breathe Lung Cancer 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, Oct. 6 at Washington Park, 701 S Franklin St. For more information, visit

Komen Denver Race for the Cure

Jodi’s Race for Awareness

Join Jodi’s Race on Saturday, June 1 at City Park (Pavilions area), 1700 N York St., for Colorado’s largest 5k fundraiser for ovarian cancer. On-site registration: 7 a.m. 5K Run/Walk 8 a.m. 1 Mile Family Fun Walk 8:10 a.m. Awards Ceremony 9 a.m. Race, inspired by Jodi Brammeier, benefits the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (COCA). Visit

Full Moon 5k & Festival

The 2nd Annual Full Moon 5k & Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Firestone Regional Sports Complex, 6805 Tilbury Ave., in Firestone, Colo. Festival: 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Race day registration and packet pickup: 7-8:15 a.m. 5K Race: 8:30 a.m. Kid’s Fun Run: 9:30 a.m. Awards and survivor recognition: 10 a.m. Funds raised from the Full Moon 5k benefit the Longmont United Hospital Foundation’s colon cancer awareness and screening efforts. Light The Night Walk

Come together with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS’s) Light The Night Walk for those battling blood cancers. The 2013 Denver Walk will take place on 
Thursday, Sept. 26.

Run for Hope 5K

The Run for Hope 5K will take place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 13 at Fort Collins City Park,
