Lucy Ornelas, 81, and her sister Mary Hernandez, 83, were wide-eyed and smiling as they turned around at the end of the walkway to look at the results that the June 6 Paint-A-Thon had on their West 44th Avenue home. The 30-member team of Wells Fargo volunteers spent more than seven hours caulking, sealing and painting the exterior of the home that was made possible by a new partnership between Wells Fargo and Brothers Redevelopment, Inc (BRI) in which Wells Fargo awarded Brothers a check for $15,000 for the modifications and Paint-A-Thon.
