The Colorado Senior Lobby Annual Summer Social is on Saturday, Aug. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be three sessions across the state: Westminster at Covenant Village of Colorado Smith Fellowship Hall, 9151 Yarrow St.; Grand Junction, Mesa County Workforce Center, Center D, 512 29 Rd.; and Montrose, Region 10 Office in the Sneffels Conference Room, 300 N. EXHIBITS

The Denver Art Museum is working with four local artists to bring the pre-Columbian and Spanish Colonial art collections to life on Level 4 of the North Building. “CUATRO[4]: A Series of Artist Interactions” kicked off with Carlos Fresquez, whose work is on show through Sunday, Aug. 7. Upcoming artists are Danette Montoya (October-November, 2016), Café Cultura (January-February, 2017) and James Cordova (March 2017). For more information, visit www.denverartmuseum.org.
