The city of Aurora’s Community Development Division and Home Ownership Assistance Program are offering free monthly Financial Fitness Classes throughout 2016. Next up: Budgeting. The city of Aurora has scheduled a Household Chemical Roundup on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aurora residents can drop off or recycle unwanted household chemicals for free at this one-day event. Joy Park Free Night continues at the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marisco Campus. Explore 30,000 square feet of outdoor adventure space for FREE during our Joy Park Free Nights. The South of 6th neighborhood will be recognized as the city of Lakewood’s newest certified Outstanding Sustainable Neighborhood through the City’s Sustainable Neighborhoods Program.
