Beth Malouff is a student at Alamosa High School where she holds a 3.75 GPA. Malouff is involved in Future Businiess Leaders of America, Key Club, and was a basketball manager for the boy’s team. Her ideal college to attend is the University of Northern Colorado or Colorado State University at Fort Collins.

Malouff volunteers her time at the Boys & Girls Club of Alamosa two days a week. She works primarily with kindergarten and first grade students, where she helps them read and do their homework.
WHY IS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IMPORTANT?
“When you work with people you set a good example. When you work with kids you put a bug in their ear and make a positive impact. You can teach that kid that school is good and they can do anything.”
