The Longmont Museum has opened one of the first-ever exhibitions to showcase lowrider culture. Lowriders are customized cars with chassis that have been lowered so that they narrowly clear the ground, and are bountiful in Colorado and rich with history. Longmont is home to over 200 Lowriders alone. The exhibit is opened daily and costs $8 for adults, $5 for students/seniors (62+), free for members and ages 3 and under. The second Saturday of each month is a free day.
The largest collection of Viking artifacts is in Denver! Experience Vikings Beyond the Legend, an exhibition that has captivated millions around the world. Vikings: Beyond the Legend lays waste to the one-dimensional stereotype of bearded barbarians with horned helmets. Marvel at a culture of surprising refinement, complexity, and achievement, and a supernatural world inhabited by Thor, Odin, and other gods and giants. Vikings Beyond the Legend will be featured at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science at 2001 Colorado Blvd., from now until August 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

An Alianza Evening with the Museo’s Tornaviaje Exhibit at Museo de las Americas, and the Denver Art Museum Alianza will sponsor an evening with the Museo de las Americas Tornaviaje Exhibit at 861 Santa Fe Dr. This exhibit will discuss the Manila Galleon trade, using a series of narrative and illustrated displays, and featuring objects of the trade.
