We’re just a little over a week away from the 2017 NFL Draft and media outlets across the country are offering their take on who will pick up whom, who should go where and if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that nothing’s a sure thing in the NFL Draft. The Denver Broncos have team needs like any other team, but the Bronco’s needs aren’t always as clear. While the Bronco’s made some significant moves in free agency the question remains, was it enough?

Denver’s defense hasn’t been of much concern for the Bronco’s brass but the offense, is obviously a different story, specifically, the offensive line. The possibilities are endless for the Broncos as this draft appears to be filled with phenomenal offensive pieces waiting for a chance to shine; however, one name continues to rear its head in Denver’s direction and he appears to be a fan favorite. Christian McCaffrey, son of Bronco’s legend Ed McCaffrey is a Stanford running back with the hands and speed of a slot receiver. McCaffrey is rumored to have a 2017 NFL Draft guarantee to an un-named team, and with his visit to Denver less than a week ago one might say Denver is his preferred destination.

Despite all the hype, the Broncos backfield is filled with running backs none of which have really had record-breaking seasons in Denver, but manage to be just good enough to keep their jobs. General Manager, John Elway is known for making smart and lasting moves in the NFL Draft as well as free agency, and encourages healthy competition which is why it seems less far-fetched that he might position the Broncos to pick up McCaffrey in the first round. McCaffrey jerseys might be a top sellers soon.

In other sports Becca Longo of Chandler Arizona made Division II history this past week by signing a letter of intent to play College Football for Adams State University in Alamosa. Although Longo is not the first woman to play college football she is the first to play in the NCAA Division II, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
