Denver Zoo’s 28th Do At The Zoo gala will highlight some of the best musical acts in Denver. One performer, Biff Gore, was a top contestant on the hit television show “The Voice.” Presented by Anadarko, Denver’s wildest summer party, and Denver Zoo’s largest fundraiser, will also feature more than 55 of the city’s finest restaurants serving their best menu items, the region’s best beer, wine and cocktails, in addition to up-close animal experiences. Proceeds raised at this year’s event will support Zoo staff services, including science education, global conservation and world-class animal care. Event will be held at the Denver Zoo on Thursday, June 15, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
OLV and its members invite members of the community to join them along with former Mayor Federico Peña for a Press Conference at Our Lady of Visitation Church, 2531 W. 65th Pl., in Denver on Thursday, April 27, at 1:30 p.m. Our Lady of Visitation (OLV); “We’ve exhausted all options. It is unjust to impose a decision of this magnitude on the Latino Community without so much as a sing conversation” said Peña. His father-in-law has served as a Deacon for more that three decades. Peña and his wife have worshiped at and supported the church since 2003. For more than five months OLV members have been unsuccessful in their attempts to talk to the archbishop.
