The Brighton Chile Fest (formerly Denver Chili Fest) is Metro Denver’s premier festival celebrating the chile harvest. It’s a family-friendly event that’s tons of fun for all ages with a kid’s Fun Zone, great street eats, artisans and vendor booths, unique and locally sourced specialty food items, live music by Narrow Gauge, recipe contest, and of course, chiles galore with the largest selection available in the state of freshly roasted to order chiles. The annual Sunnyside Music Fest is a family friendly day of free music in the park. There will be dozens of local vendors, wonderful libations and eats from around the state, and activities for the kids. The annual Chile & Frijoles Festival Presented by Loaf ‘N Jug‚ held each year is quickly approaching. The festival is sponsored by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce and every year, thousands pay homage to two of the Pueblo area’s best loved crops – green chilies‚ particularly Pueblo chile‚ and frijoles or pinto beans.
