It’s a perfect season for one of Estes Park’s late-autumn traditions when a series of bands herald Autumn Gold - a Festival of Bands, Brats & Beer. Entrance is free to dance, listen to music and enjoy the festival. The Estes Valley Sunrise Rotary will be offering mustard-smothered bratwursts, cold brews, soft drinks and more as talented local musicians and award-winning Colorado band play. The Autumn Gold festival will is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 23 and 24, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Go to for more information.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife will hold the inaugural Outdoor Adventure Expo at Cherry Creek State Park the weekend of September 23-24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. New adventures begin here with three separate recreation areas (Outdoor, Shooting, and Water) which offer archery, biking, fishing, OHV rides, paddleboarding, rock climbing, sailing, shooting and more! Come celebrate our immigrant communities at the new Colorado Immigrant Festival. IMMIFEST for short. Each month there will be focus on one of cultural community in Aurora. Come down for music, food, vendors and art. The event is free and Sponsored by the Aurora Cultural Arts District. This months theme is Mexican/Latino. There will be prizes for Fastest boat, Pride of the regatta, Titanic award, Refugee award, and an honorable mention. Kids who spend more time outside have greater attention spans, are more creative, and tend to be healthier, but it can be difficult to get them out there! bring them to the natural Areas. St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer, Registrate at 8 a.m., run start 9 a.m. 5K Walk and fun Run on September 23, 2017 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park 6000 Victory Way, form a team, and invite your friends and family to join or join an existing team. Be a fearless fundraiser for the kids of St. Jude, and explore the cool gear you can earn. Thanks to committed fundraisers like you, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for anything.
