On March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Washington, DC to demand that their lives and safety become a priority. The collective voices of the March For Our Lives movement will be heard. The mission and focus of March For Our Lives is to demand that a comprehensive and effective bill be immediately brought before Congress to address these gun issues. No special interest group, no political agenda is more critical than timely passage of legislation to effectively address the gun violence issues that are rampant in our country. The March will be held at Civic Center Park in Denver on March 24th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Free Days occur throughout the year at both York Street: Thursday, March 22 (World Water Day); Sunday, April 8; Tuesday, June 5; Thursday, July 19; Wednesday, Aug. 29; Saturday Nov. 3 (Dia de los Muertos & Night at the Museums) and Chatfield Farms: Tuesday, April 3; Tuesday, June 5; Tuesday, July 3; Tuesday, Aug. 7; Tuesday, Nov. 6, thanks to funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). Join“FABRICation” exhibition at the Avenir Museum, Professor Iverson will introduce us to this exhibition of seven artists who incorporate a textile sensibility through elements of fabric and fabrication on Thursday, March 22 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Visit www.avenir.colostate.edu for more information.
