“Lead by example not by force.”

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Avila volunteers her time at the Denver Dumb Friends League and every week she helps a student (who is disabled) with their homework.

WHY IS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IMPORTANT?

“Because it does make you a better person. It gives you the opportunity to meet new people. But most importantly it gives you the chance to be more involved in other people’s lives.”

IF I COULD IMPROVE THE WORLD I WOULD…

“I would stop all the violence in the world. I give my time to those in need.”

SCHOOL OF CHOICE

I plan to join the Cadet Program, and if accepted I will then begin college courses.
