Denver International Airport (DEN) will continue its “Events at DEN” series this summer with the return of FREE mini golf on the airport’s spectacular open-air plaza. This year’s custom 18-hole mini golf course will include new challenging holes and obstacles. The course will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily until June 24, weather permitting. Participants simply locate the DEN golf cart on the plaza to pick up their putter, golf ball and scorecard.

Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) Center for Visual Art (CVA) announces Pink Progression, an exhibition addressing concepts of human rights, gender, sexual identity, feminism and inclusivity. Pink Progression is a series of exhibitions commemorating and celebrating the solidarity established during the women’s marches in 2017 and 2018. During the marches, pink created a strong visual statement representing unity and empowerment. For the CVA exhibition, over fifty local artists incorporate or respond to this hue as they explore how social interactions are affected by gender and identity expression.This exhibit is located at the Center for Visual Arts, 965 Santa Fe Dr., Tuesday – Friday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday 12 – 5 p.m. First & Third Friday 6 – 8 p.m. This event is free to the public.

La Familia Family Center presents La Fiesta, featuring the Chef Challenge for Children, on Saturday, June 9. Beginning in old town Fort Collins. The Chef Challenge begins at 3 p.m. till 6 p.m. Attendees tour through participating restaurants trying different samples of food, voting for their favorites. At 6 p.m. the Fiesta begins at the Agave Room, celebrating winners with dancing and other activities. The fee for the Chef Challenge is $40 and for La Fiesta is $40, but if bought together is $60. Greeley Unexpected celebrates their sixth annual Friday Fest at 6 p.m June 1 at the 9th Street Plaza in Greeley. The event will feature a live concert, street performers, fire spinners, face painters, giveaways and much more. The event is free. For more information visit
