Denver Botanic Gardens will display more than 2,000 lavender plants in celebration of Chatfield Farms’ Lavender Garden. There will be live music, crafts, food, drinks, lavender classes and more. Fees are $7, $5 for members. The festival will begin at 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. For more information visit www.botanicgardens.org/lavender-festival.

The Association of Colombians in Colorado (ASOCOCO) will be hosting their fourth annual festival. Don’t miss the Colombian Independence Festival this Saturday, July 22. There will be live music, food, entertainment and much more. The event is free and open to the public. For more information visit www.asococo.org.

Gear and Beer will be held on July 24. There will be outdoor, travel and adventure gear on demo and for sale. There will also be beer and live music. It is free to the public and starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m. at Wayfinder Co-op, 525 Santa Fe Dr. For more information visit

Museo de las Americas will be hosting its 3rd Annual Lucha Libre Bash. Join them in celebrating the wonderful subculture of Lucha with a show from Hugo’s Lucha Libre. Museo’s Lucha Libre event will be held onsite in Museo’s outdoor space on July 20th, 2018 from 6 - 9 p.m. The event will feature a professional wrestling ring and 8-10 local and international luchadores from Hugo’s Lucha Libre Company. El Centro Su Teatro will host their 22nd Annual Chicano Music Festival and Auction. It begins on July 25 through July 29. Wednesday: XicanIndie Music on Film, Thursday: Chicano Music Hall of Game, Friday: Chicano Roots Jam Session, Saturday: Summer Pachange and Sunday: Mariachi Tardeada. Drop in and create some magic at our weekly arts n’ crafts event. We will provide the materials needed to make the craft and a few sets of instructions. The Denver Broncos are traveling south as a part of their Broncos Fit initiative and will continue their 2018 Broncos 7K Series and Salute to Fans Rally in Pueblo at City Park on July 21.
