Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Welby will hold its bazaar 6-11 p.m. Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28; and 4-9 p.m. Sunday, July 29, at the church, 2361 E. 78th Ave.

Once a year, Red Rocks Young Adults holds a FREE & EPIC party in the park somewhere in Denver to celebrate summer and just have fun. It’s an unforgettable night with live music, lawn games, food trucks and more. This year’s event will take place at Levitt Pavilion, 1380 W. Florida Ave., from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on July 26!

Los Mocochetes are a 7-piece Chicano Funk band from Denver. This colorful cast of characters fuses thoughtfully brazen, socio/politically charged song lyrics, groovilicious melodies and high-energy stage antics to create an immersive experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. They have chosen to use their music to inspire and encourage positive social change, and they have a ton of fun along the way. Every show is different, but it’s always a dance party! Join them at Dazzle, 1512 Curtis St., Thursday July 26 from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. for some of the best Chicano funk around.

The Chambers Project presents Justin Lovato’s solo show “Qualia” opening in Denver, on August 3, at The Crown Collection Gallery, 4433 W. 29th Ave. from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. until September 1st. This showcase of artwork features original paintings, drawings, and limited edition screen prints. Lovato will create an immersive installation in the gallery inviting observers to feel absorbed into his radiant and detailed works.

A collection of 180+ vendors, all artists and craftsman for the Greeley Arts Picnic gather at Lincoln Park, 800 10th Ave., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday July 28, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday July 29th There will be live music, wonderful food, face painting, and acrobats. Come on down to the Riverwalk for a free movie. Coco will be showing, sponsored by Security Service. Free popcorn will be available and the movie will be on Saturday July 28 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
