Cerveceria Colorado and Denver Beer Co. will co-host the Great Mexican Beer Fiesta of Friday, September 21. Where the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) celebrates the best in American craft beer, the Great Mexican Beer Fiesta (GMBF) will be a Mexican Street Fiesta to celebrate collaboration in craft beer with several of the best craft brewers from Mexico. DaVinci X - The Machines & You Exhibition, presented by Colorado School of Mines, displaying hand-crafted inventions built from Leonardo’s 500 year old designs brought to life the creations by the brilliant scientist, inventor and artist Leonardo Da Vinci. In recognition of Deaf Heritage Month, Denver Arts & Venues, The Denver Office of Sign Language Services and ImaginASL invite Denver residents and visitors to celebrate the rich culture, language and heritage of deaf people through the Breaking Barriers Festival, Sept. 10-16. CJ Jones, a Deaf comedian, performs at Wellington E. Webb Municipal Building Atrium Friday, Sept. 14, 11 a.m. An unstoppable force within Hollywood as a Deaf actor, producer, director, writer and entrepreneur, Jones is also acclaimed for his humor and inspiration. This performance is free and open to the public.
