Over the history of this country Veterans have sacrificed so much for our freedom. Over the course of military service many have given up their lives. For many wartime has affected both their physical and mental health returning to their homes with disabilities including PTSD.
We cannot ever fully repay you or honor you completely but know that you are special. You have experienced horrible acts of war some of you will never speak of again and some of you carry the burden of war forever, often reliving it in your everyday lives.
As a small token of their appreciation and to honor our nation’s veterans, numerous companies are offering discounted or free meals to active-duty service members, veterans and—in many cases—military spouses and dependents. These deals are available on Veterans Day 2025 and may vary by location. Note: While not all locations require proof of military service, it’s always best to bring a valid military ID, veteran ID card, DD214 or other accepted documentation in case verification is needed.
