Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, proclaims November 11, 2025, as Veterans Day. “I encourage all Americans to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of our veterans through public ceremonies and private thoughts and prayers of gratitude.”

Colorado Governor

Governor Polis visited the Veterans Community Living Center at Fitzsimons to meet with residents who have bravely served their country, and to celebrate the U.S. Marine Corps’ 250th birthday.  “Veterans Day is a chance to recognize the selfless sacrifices that Veterans have made to protect our nation and our freedom,” said Governor Jared Polis.

Denver Mayor

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston today shared significant progress on the 2025 citywide goals. Months ahead of the end of year deadline, the city has met or is projected to meet its targets in six key priority areas: Vibrant, Safe, Affordable, All In Mile High, Climate, and Family Friendly.   “Whether it is tackling housing affordability, making our streets safer or revitalizing our neighborhoods, we’ve proved that when we come together with urgency and purpose, we can achieve what may seem impossible,” said Mayor Mike Johnston.
