Jada Gutierrez is a high school senior at Antonito High School who currently holds a 4.0 GPA. Academic achievements include National Honor Society, Principal’s Honor Roll, Top NWEA scorer in Mathematics, and awards in Science, Mathematics, History and English. Gutierrez’s also completed her CNA courses while enrolled in High School. Gutierrez is a varsity athlete who participates in Basketball and Cross Country. Gutierrez has served as a member for the Antonito Mental Health Committee, Destination Imagination and the Gifted and Talented program. Gutierrez will be one of two valedictorians, for the 2026 graduating class.

Community Involvement: Gutierrez has volunteered in the community through Honor Society.
Why is Community Involvement important? Gutierrez says, “I think it is important because it brings us together as a community. I strongly believe that if we work together, we can achieve great things for our town.”

College of choice: Gutierrez has been accepted at Western Colorado University, Adams State University, Colorado State University in Pueblo, and University of Colorado in Denver.
