President Donald J. Trump signed a Presidential Memorandum expanding Americans’ freedom to fix their own vehicles.  The Memorandum directs the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to issue guidance clarifying what actions individuals may take to fix their own vehicles’ emissions systems, consistent with the Clean Air Act.

Colorado Governor

Governor Polis verbally declared disaster emergencies in response to two additional fires: the Aspen Acres Fire in Pueblo and Custer Counties, which is currently estimated to be 362 acres, and the Willow Fire in Lake County, which is currently estimated to be 1,066 acres. Governor Polis also authorized the mobilization of the Colorado National Guard to support fire response efforts for both fires.

Denver Mayor

Mayor Mike Johnston today announced the City and County of Denver has partnered with SpotHero to launch “Mayor’s Park $5”, a first of its kind initiative that will make thousands of parking spots available in Downtown Denver for $5. The summer pilot program begins June 29, 2026, and lasts through the end of September.  “This program is a win for everyone,” said Mayor Mike Johnston.
