Five Pueblo area veterans will be honored at the 10th Annual Legacies of Courage Awards Ceremony on October 10th.
Established in 2015 the Legacies of Courage Award has honored and recognized 58 veterans for their service to country, courage and community involvement. Many of these honorees continue their support of area veterans long after their service to country.
In 2026, Pueblo Latino Veterans will honor five Latino veterans at the Pueblo Convention Center.
The guest speaker is Darrell R. Dominguez with Farmers Insurance, a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

The Legacy of Courage Awards are a result of the work of Pueblo Veteran Latinos who annually continue highlighting veterans who sacrificed immensely and whose families sacrificed right along with their veteran. This organization is also a means of staying connected to those veterans in need of related services.
