USA knocked out of World Cup as Rockies find momentum

Date:

Team USA devastated in brutal fashion as Belgium put an end to USA’s 3-1 winning record this tournament. The outing ended in a 4-1 domination on Belgium’s side of the turf.

Controversy has been sparked with fans stating “foul play” was to blame for the devastating loss accusing FIFA of interfering with the tournament, the fact remains that Belgium was by far the better squad than team USA on July 6th’s affair. With the US’s abrupt exit from the tournament all of FIFA’s co-hosts have been eliminated, including the US, Mexico, and Canada. The rest of the round 16 exits included the world-renowned Brazil squad, Columbia, Egypt and Portugal.

Prior to Portugal’s exit and lackluster performance against Spain, superstar and debated GOAT Cristiano Ronaldo announced that this will be his last FIFA World Cup, no further statement has been made on the remainder of his career in Saudi Arabia.

Other debated GOAT Lionel Messi continues his terror this tournament when scored once again in Argentina’s matchup against Egypt and was the fire behind Argentina’s comeback victory.

Key matchups to lookout for throughout the remainder of this tournament include France vs Monaco, Spain vs Belgium, Norway vs England, and Argentina vs Switzerland with the remainder of the bracket being TBD.

In mile high news, the Rockies triumphed over the San Francisco Giants in a three-game series that spanned across July 3rd, 4th, 5th, winning the series 2-1 and marking their ninth series win of the season, surpassing last year’s eight total. July 6th brought us a Rockies 7-8 loss in enemy territory.

The Rockies faced the Dodgers last night, the outing ended in a 4-3 Rockies victory in enemy territory, game three of the series is set for Wednesday, July 8 at 8:10pm MST.
